It's a major award!
So, I entered a play in the regional college theatre festival ten minute play contest. Competing against 50 or 60 other plays, it was selected as a regional finalist. It was read at the regional festival a couple of weeks ago.
It won at the regional festival. One of eight regional winners
Today, it was selected to go to the national festival. One of four national finalists.
It's going to be performed at the national college theatre festival -- on stage at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., for god's sake -- in late April. So I get an all expenses paid trip to DC. The play will also be published apparently.
Pretty wild.
