This morning I ordered some shorts.
Exciting, eh?
Not really. Necessary, though. And then I looked at the order history for the site I ordered them from and discovered that exactly one year ago today, I ordered some shorts.
Okay, a coincidence. Fine. But wait.
I looked at that order and discovered that I had ordered 42 inch waist shorts last year.
This year I ordered 34's.
That, to me anyway, was remarkable.
